Migration to Magento 2 for a fashion brand
Solar is a premium fashion brand established in 1989 that produces 1.3 million garments per year. Solar has 74 of its own retail stores, 19 franchise outlets, 76 partner stores in Poland, and four franchise outlets located in Germany and Luxembourg. The brand started online sales through the company website in 2012.

Why were we asked to help?
The decision to change the platform and migrate the store to Magento 2 was taken together with customers in response to growing customer expectations and market trends.
The previous solution had not followed the dynamic expansion of the brand. The technology had begun to limit the platform’s development and new implementations as well as Solar’s business goals.
The main goals of the project were:
Increase conversion in the online channel with a focus on mobile.
Refresh the layout according to the new corporate identity.
Transfer the Solar brand to a new eCommerce technology that will guarantee stability and rapid platform development.
Implement user experience (UX) solutions compatible with current trends and customer expectations.
How did we tackle the tech?
The project began by analyzing the behavior of users with tools like Mouseflow and Google Analytics. After the first stage, an analytical report was prepared that became the basis for designing mock-ups. On the basis of these mockups, the design studio, Creative Futu, designed the website layout.
The first and the most difficult stage of the implementation was the integration with the enterprise resource planning (ERP) system at the client’s end. In the area of procurement and products, it is a two-sided integration. At the same time, Divante started to implement specific features into the application.

What did we achieve?
Implementation of a fully responsive version of the store.
Launching the store with the introduction of a new collection.
The number of sessions increased in the mobile channel by 21%.
Revenue growth increased in the mobile channel by 237%.
The number of transactions increased in the mobile channel by 483%.
Solar has become a Magento Imagine Excellence Award Finalist for The Best New Implementation of a Magento 2 Store in 2017.
