Were you wondering how to use beacons technology in the right way? We might have a clue for you. Here’s Everytap.
Company and product names?
Everytap Sp. z o.o. / Everytap.
Where are you headquartered?
Gdańsk, Poland in the Incubator Starter.
What does the company do?
Everytap is a mobile loyalty platform with a twist. We want to build communities around exceptional cafes and restaurants, and enhance experience for guests who visit them frequently. This means we’re not about offering just another cup of coffee after you’ve already had 10 of them but, for example, invite those quests to a special coffee brewing workshop organized by their favorite cafe.
What are the key differentiated features of your product or service?
The thing is that there’s also the third part of the transaction – producers or distributors. We’re now building a set of features codenamed “Quests” that will allow them to engage customers in an entertaining kind of a game. End users will be able to get fancy rewards such as paragliding for hanging out at their favorite venues with friends. It’s all about unforgettable stuff you can’t get in any other way.
For those venues and brands Everytap is a new way of building, communicating and managing ad hoc campaigns for users while increasing their loyalty. Thanks to iBeacon technology that we rely on heavily, we’re able to operate within extremely precise context of the end users and provide organizers with detailed statistics.

What have you learned from early versions of the product or service?
We’ve learned that all current loyalty programs suck :) And that you have to provide users with experiences instead of just some free stuff. That era is long gone and when we realised that we’ve found an excellent solution – the “Quests” mentioned above – we are focused on providing that way of engaging users, venues and brands.
What early traction has the company gotten (sales, customers, traffic, etc)?
Everytap is now available in Gdańsk, Sopot and Gdynia… and Guatemala. From the very beginning we wanted the product to be scalable and therefore run an experiment at such a distant location as Guatemala where we are now working with 10 local venues.
We’ve partnered so far with 40 or so venues here in Tricity and plan to expand to other main cities in Poland one the “Quests” are ready. Soon after we will focus on locations outside of Poland. Naturally, most of the users that use our iOS and Android apps are based in Tricity and we’re now seeing a growth of around +20% weekly.
Why does your company have high growth potential?
As Everytap is to be working with brands, we’re able to scale in a much easier way than loyalty programs focused just on venues. Those brands often operate on an international level and as soon as together with them we prove the potential based on initial trials, Everytap can easily go global.
Who are the founders?
The core team is led by Maciek Piwko who’s got a wide experience in running a successful pub, high quality hostel and guesthouse. He knows the business from the perspective of our clients extremely well. On the other hand, I’m experienced with building mobile and web products at startups based in Poland, UK and Greece, and also building apps for brands. Kamil Łukasiewicz is a young and well recognized mobile UX designer here in Poland, while Ksawery Kirklewski is extremely creative graphic designer, and Radek Sadurski has an experience is sales gained from working on startups based in Africa and the Philippines.
Who are the company’s competitors?
Kekemeke, Justtag, Freebee, PayBack.
Obviously our natural competitors at this stage are other mobile loyalty programs focused on entertainment venues. Other services that we consider competitors are companies, whose core business is providing and organizing sales and promotional campaigns for brands and distributors of products available at those venues.
How do you plan to scale in the next 12 months?
Our first focus is to build and run campaigns as part of the “Quests”, focus on getting brand on board and scale to the other cities then Gdansk, Sopot, Gdynia and Guatemala.
