The year 2016 was full of interesting books that can be a source of inspiration for an eCommerce Manager. Today, I wanted to present three inspirational titles.

The Inevitable – Kevin Kelly

Learn about megatrends that will inevitably change our world. In fact, each of them will affect how consumers behave and how they do shopping. This book will allow you to better plan strategic investments in eCommerce.

The Inevitable

Smarter Faster Better – Charles Duhigg

An extensive book dealing with the topic of work efficiency through interesting case studies. We learn about surprising stories and learn how to function more efficiently by these examples. The book has a double value – the colorful stories read like fiction but their conclusions can be used at work. I especially liked the chapter describing the surprising catastrophe of a fully efficient aircraft, which fell to the ground as a result of cognitive biases of its crew.

 Digital Gold – Nathaniel Popper

Do you want to really understand the phenomenon of digital currencies? This book takes you on a fascinating, action-packed journey through the history of Bitcoin. Brilliantly described stories straight from the Wild West read brilliantly. This book made me realize how a groundbreaking concept Bitcoin was. Without doubt, cryptocurrency will affect the future of on-line transactions, so it’s worth investing in that book.
